I spotted this on Craig Street in Pittsburgh, and I’m genuinely confused. Do they sell diamonds or karate or both. It doesn’t help that martial is very close to marital.

I found this amazing app called Web Albums. I bought a version for both the iPhone and iPad. It allows access to your whole Picasa library and caches what you look at. It’s so much easier and efficient than sync through iTunes.

I did have to buy some extra space with google, but it was only $5 for a year of 20 gigs.

Ditching the food pyramid for a dinner plate

Sounds like dramatically enhanced design affordance to me. I mean who wanted to eat a pyramid?

Can I say enough good things about the hype machine? I done think so. It’s Internet radio controlled by all the people you want controlling it. It aggregates music posted on blogs and liked by site members are so far the hit rate (songs I personally like) has been phenomenal.

It reminds me of the carefully curated compilations I used to get in the 90s, like the My So-Called Life soundtrack or this disc that came with Dr. Marten’s shoes. Obscure bands, but great songs.

Movie recommendation: The Fantastic Mr. Fox

It’s tough to describe the density of awesomeness in this movie. Well thought out humor. A story with lots of unexpected turns. George Clooney and Jason Schwartzman doing amazing voice work. Striking visuals. Great music. I’m looking forward to seeing it again.
